Black Caregivers Face Unique Challenges
Every day Black caregivers face emotional and physical stress, financial strain and feelings of isolation. We designed our CareTalks series to help caregivers better care for themselves and others.
MEETING THE NEEDS OF CAREGIVERS
Studies show that African American caregivers want doctors and other care professional to ask them about their selfcare needs. That’s why we created Caregiver Rx. Now, caregivers can get help from physicians and other health care providers through videos “prescribed” to them and tailored to their needs.
NOW SHOWING
African American caregivers often feel isolated and overwhelmed when caring for a loved one. We created CareTalks to connect caregivers who share common experiences in one-on-one conversations. Viewers identify with the caregivers’ journey and realize they are not alone.
